Proposed Statutes And Department Of Health Guidelines For The Practice Of Telemedicine In Rhode Island

Although the practice of telemedicine is currently prohibited in Rhode Island by statutes restricting the practice of medicine to physicians with a Rhode Island license, there is a Senate bill and a set of proposed guidelines from the Department of Health seeking to change the law to facilitate the practice of telemedicine.
